  1. iProtect Year 2000 compliance statement

  3. The iProtect security program only processes dates in the following ways:

  5. 1) When displaying folders and files in the Details view, it requests
  6.    the current date from the operating system and displays it. If the
  7.    operating system reports the wrong date after 1/1/2000, iProtect will
  8.    too.
  9.  
  10. 2) The cache and log files generated and maintained by iProtect store
  11.    the year in a 4 digit format. Providing the operating system reports
  12.    the correct date after 1/1/2000, iProtect will too.

  14. In other words, iProtect is fully Year-2000 compliant, provided that:

  16.    1) The computer itself is.
  17.  
  18.    2) The correct date is reported by the operating system.
